The human race originated on the continent of Sarlona, but migrated to what would later become the Lhazaar Principalities roughly 4000 years ago. Over the course of the next few centuries, they spread across Khorvaire and established settlements that would become the Five Nations.
Humans manifest four of the thirteen dragonmarks, and this has allowed them to establish themselves as one of the most powerful races in Khorvaire despite their shorter lifespans. Humans can manifest the Mark of Handling, Mark of Making, Mark of Passage and the Mark of Sentinel.
