Zolanberg is the smallest of the three major cities in Zilargo, and is primarily a mining town. It's positioned in the Seawall Mountains, and it lies above a vast web of gem mines that produces much of the wealth of the nation of Zilargo. Like most of the settlements in Zilargo, Zolanberg is also built on Dhakaani foundations, and the ruins are in much better condition than they are in the rest of Khorvaire.
The preserved state of the Dhakaani ruins is likely what led to Zolanberg having it's own museum, which until 998 YK contained (and displayed) the remains of the Dhakaani hero Kamvuul Norek.
