Readers turn to the Inquisitive for local news which some say reads like local gossip. The Inquisitive also features an opinion page which hosts heated debates on important city issues. A subscription to the Inquisitive costs 3 gp annually. Though issues are not sold individually, it is easy to find discarded copies a few days after their publication.
The Brelish have a special love of gossip, which is why the Sharn Inquisitive has such a strong readership throughout Breland, but usually fares poorly beyond the Brelish borders, where it is seen as light and inconsequential.
