Beren ir'Wynarn is a cousin of King Boranel's, and a senator in the Brelish Nobles Chamber. He spent his youth, and much of his career, fighting in the Last War, taking after his cousin by leading from the front. As he aged and his body slowed, he took a step back and began a career in politics. He's well respected amongst his peers, and has retained ties with the Brelish military following his service and reputation as a war hero.
Given his history and wealth of experience, Beren was chosen to represent Breland at the summit in Droaam in 999 YK.
