Callain of the Bloody Word is the current matriarch of the Wind Howlers. She refused to bow to the Daughters of Sora Kell, and leads the largest of the six Harpy Flights that did not align themselves with Droaam.
She is wild and unpredictable, and takes any opportunity she can to interfere with the Daughters of Sora Kell and their plans for Droaam. It's uncertain why they haven't been eliminated or chased off like the Haunting Song were.
