Fathen the Martyr was a Shifter champion of the Church of the Silver Flame during the Silver Crusade. Fathen personally rooted out several undercover groups of wererats that had infiltrated Sharn, and was eventually torn apart in the streets by wererats. As they died, they somehow blessed the weapons of the townsfolk and allowed them to fight back against the wererats.
A shrine honouring her was raised in Northmarket in Lower Northedge, supposedly at the site of her death.
