2. Swords of Liberty Report

May 21, 2020

Following on from Blue Hoods Report, still on the 20th of Olarune, 998 YK.

  • Warden goes to see Siebold Adelbertskrieger about his dry rot problem. Zee draws the moisture out of the fungal infection and instructs Warden to not get it wet for a few days.
  • The rest of the party goes to see Honest Harold. Dax' Athla showed him one of the Swords of Liberty pins. He said he knew it.
  • Dax asked him where to buy these pins, he said "right here if you sell these ones to me."
  • Harold explained that it's the insignia of the Swords of Liberty. They're a bunch of "rabble rousers", terrorists, freedom fighters. They're violent parliamentarians who oppose the monarchy. They've been a problem for Breland for some time.
The party then went out to find the missing supplies.
  • A day and a half later (21st of Olarune, 998 YK), the party found the site of a roadside ambush.
  • Terfel Glas spotted a blood trail going west into a gorge. He got shot at by some Blue Hoods.
  • They dispatched the Blue Hoods, taking 2 of them alive.
  • Warden interrogated them by telling them his life story. They caved quickly and revealed where the camp was, and that they don't know who gives them orders.
  • The party stealthily approached the camp. They waited and observed for a while, after some time, two of the blue hoods left the camp.
  • Warden got spotted, and the two blue hoods attempted to politely rob him.
  • Dax just straight up killed a man!
  • They managed to take another 2 blue hoods alive.
  • They found many of the missing supplies in the camp, including a bunch of paperwork. The papers include Lei's Letters and Blue Hood Orders.
  • Dax goes back to New Cyre to get some wagons and people to bring the supplies back.
  • The wagons arrive and the party load them up. They also deconstruct the camp, that's valuable timber!
  • They get all the supplies back to New Cyre on the 25th of Olarune.
  • Terfel checked in on Llyr Glas. Siebold Adelbertskrieger had given him a knife. Terfel took the knife.
