The Plaguebearers are shunned by all the Carrion Tribes. They worship and serve Ashurak, the Slow Death, the overlord of disease and decay. They willingly and purposefully foster infection and disease in their own bodies, coating their weapons with their their bodily fluids and seeking to spread their plagues to any they encounter. The blessing of Ashurak stops them from succumbing to these diseases, but leaves them no less infectious to others.
The Plaguebearers have a permanent home around the prison of Ashurak, a region that is avoided by most life in the Demon Wastes. They are a relatively new tribe, being only a couple of generations old, as the vassal tribes of Ashurak are always destroyed one way or another. It remains to be seen how long these plaguebearers will survive.
