Imane is a Khoravar warrior of the Vaanka Ghaash'kala, and a skilled archer and tracker. She is an ambulatory wheelchair user, and uses a combat wheelchair when she leaves Vaanka Dar, but can get by with a cane within the fortress if she doesn't need to travel far. Her chair struggles with the terrain in The Labyrinth, so she rarely goes out on patrol on foot, instead patrolling the air.
She is bonded to a dragonhawk, Zephyr. She had a special saddle made that allows her to ride Zephyr without risk of her falling, and can support her wheelchair, allowing her to take it with her for when she needs to dismount.
