Gwen is a wandering ranger for the Wardens of the Wood, working to protect the disparate communities of the Towering Wood from various threats. She generally tries to divert dangerous wildlife away from settlements, rather than killing them.
She is accompanied by Humphrey, an awakened giant badger.
