Every culture on Eberron has some variation of the Progenitor Creation myth. In the beginning, there were three primrodial dragons: Eberron, Siberys, and Khyber. Together, they built the 13 Planes of Existence. Then, Khyber suddenly betrayed the other two, attacking and killing Siberys, tearing his body to pieces. Eberron tried to stop her, but could not defeat Khyber, and so instead coiled around her sister and encased her forever. Siberys (the Dragon Above) became the ring around the world, Eberron (the Dragon Between) became the ground, and Khyber (the Dragon Below) became the places deep beneath where monsters are born.
