Belashyrra is the one of the 6 known Daelkyr that are currently imprisoned in Khyber.
Most daelkyr follow a theme, and the abominations that they create reflect this theme. Belashyrra is obsessed with sight and eyes. Belashyrra is the artist behind Beholders and their lesser kin. Beyond this, Belashyrra embodies the idea of seeing beyond the veil, and observing eldritch truths about the world that mortals were never meant to know. Those who choose to worship or serve the Lord of Eyes do so in search of these insights. As such, Belashyrra is the daelkyr with the most interest in the Draconic Prophecy.
From its home in the Citadel of Lidless Eyes, Belashyrra is said to be able to see through the eyes of any living creature on Eberron. Their presence in Eberron has been relatively minor when compared to the activity of Avassh or Dyrrn, as Belashyrra appears to be more introspective and reflective. There are many tales of Beholder philosophers out in the world, attempting to understand the universe.
Whilst it has had some influence on the Shadow Marches, Belashyrra's presence is much more strongly felt on Xen'drik. For some unknown reason, Belashyrra's forces have begun besieging other demiplanes in Khyber in recent years, particularly Taer Umbra and Karda Gantii'Uul.
