Murianthropes, also known as wererats, are Therianthropes that can transform into rats. They have an affinity for cities, and are much more comfortable in civilisation than most therianthropes.
During the Silver Crusade, wererats served as the spies of the therianthrope forces, intentionally driving division and paranoia in the peoples of the Eldeen Reaches. Wererats were responsible for many of the misunderstandings and conflicts that lead to the persecution of Shifters.
