Hryngar are a subspecies of Dwarf that originated in northern Sarlona. The wild energies of Sarlona lead to the manifestation of psionic powers among certain groups of dwarves, altering their appearance over time. Hryngar have dark grey, blue, or purple skin, and their hair is usually white or grey, but they are otherwise physically similar to their kin.
All Hryngar have some innate resistance to magic, and generally a few psionic powers even if they haven't cultivated that particular talent.
The largest population of Hryngar remains on Sarlona, with the Doriak dwarves, but there are nevertheless other populations that spread via Khyber. In particular, there are many Hryngar in Vralkast, and Clan Noldrun in the Mror Holds were primarily Hryngar.
