The Great Olms are the dragons of the Sea of Sorrow in every way that matters. Pale and sinuous, they appear like enormous blind salamanders, with extremely elongated bodies and comparatively adorably sized limbs. Like dragons, the Olms have a magical breath, though they aren't inclined to use it as a weapon often. They have such fine control over the sound of their breathing, that their every sound is deliberate. They understand that every substance has a resonant frequency, and they can replicate it via their breath, allowing them to breath bones into dust or blood into vapour, if they were so inclined.
The Olms cultivate beautiful soundscapes in their territory, using their breath and minute vibrations. Sometimes, for reasons unknown to lesser beings, they will sing to the sea, boiling it into vapour and forming clouds in the subterranean sky, which then fall as Olmsrain.
