Bastien is one of Damien d'Orien's older brothers, about a year older. He did his Test of Siberys at the same time as Damien, but where Damien manifested a mark, Bastien did not.
Bastien now works as an Outrider for House Orien, delivering packages and mail to dangerous or difficult to access areas.
