The Sesshuna are a cultural offshoot of the Cazhaak Medusa, who split from them over a millennia ago.
The Sesshuna arrived in Vralkast almost a thousand years ago, and their arrival was a historic event for the city. They were refugees, fleeing the forces of Orlassk (as were the Cazhaak), and their powers and innate affinity for the stone caused a great deal of unease. After many tense talks with the Wyrd Vigil, a city-wide forum was held to discuss the future of the Sesshuna in Vralkast. Despite this abundance of caution, the Fomor'ren are not ones to turn away those in need, and the Sesshuna were given permission to settle in the city.
They vowed to create their own space, rather than impose on the space of others. They carved the district of Sesshun Kesst from the cliffs, now one of the most prosperous districts in the city. The stoneshaping abilities of the medusa are highly sought after in Vralkast, and the Sesshuna now oversee much of the city's expansion and civic planning via the Stoneseers Circle.
