The Mark of Shadow is the oldest living dragonmark on Khorvaire, which first manifested on Aerenal among the Phiarlan (which means "spirit keeper" in Elvish). It is the dragonmark associated with both House Phiarlan and House Thuranni, and grants powers related to divination and illusion, in addition to making its bearers supernaturally charismatic.
