Ternikus is formally ruled by a monarch. The monarch is supported amongst the land owners (nobles) of the lands in- and around the city.

Its demographic is mostly human.
At the city center lies a godstone of Deius, which the vast majority of its population follows.
Cultural highlights
To become part of the Ternikan army, one has to follow Deius.
Magically talented invidivuals of the society are subscribed as necromancers, which the society put a great honor in.
Ternikans view necromancy as a necessary evil against their sworn enemy: the undead.
While people from Ternikus are rarely well received outside their borders, it rarely come to more than words.
Because deep down, the people of Lowlands understand that if Ternikus weren't there to stand up to the Undead threat, others would have to.
Trade & Expertise
Ternikus' fertile lands to the west provide much food, more than they can eat. The hills next to the city are also the only one in the Lowlands known to contain electrium.
Their expertise in necromancy is also sought after, in particular for buyers looking for expertise on dealing with the undead.
