Aerial Diamond

Shina, Queen of Diamonds
NPC

Not much is known about Aerial aside from her counterpart being Spadia Spade. She was one of the first successful experiments alongside the rest of the troupe and Adalric Norman. She's one of the first sustaining spirits bound to a lacrima by The Plague Doctor. The lacrima enables her to hold onto material objects through magical bindings in her hands and her feet connected to equipment that was made. She is physically incapable of touching objects, but the magic that binds her to the lacrima adds a thin layer to her hands and feet, enabling her to make contact.

She is one of the strongest members of Cirque du Mystère. In the circus she is known as the troupe aerialist and is often thrown into the air to perform acrobatic tricks. Her lightweight body and natural ability to float enables for a ghostly performance.

Personality

Mannerism
Quiet and reserved. Almost as if she is a puppet following orders with no voice of her own. She is elegant with her movements and gentle.

Appearance

Aerial stands at approximately 5'6". She has a well toned athletic body with an extremely pale complexion. It can be argued that the color of her skin is from years of jester make-up staining it. She typically wears a tight fitted body suit of black, red, and white patterns and designs. She wears a long jester's hat and white gloves that match her body suit. Most of the time, she wears thigh high socks of varying colors to match her suit, but on some occasions she has been seen wearing red ballet slippers with ribbons instead. Her face is primarily seen with her clown make-up with tear drop like marks on her cheeks and a bright red lip.

The Past

Aerial Diamond, also known as the Queen of Diamonds, is someone of an interesting background.

She originally was known as Shina, a Kalashtar that was once living within Risla. She lived a normal happy life until one day she was murdered by a man she once loved. The man was never caught and therefore got away with no consequences. Unfortunately, her body was put to rest and thus everyone around her had moved on.

Many years later her skeletal remains were recovered by those working for an organization known as the Order of the Moonlight. The remains were brought into a lab where they were reanimated and reconstructed with a new life force. Her body became what would be known as Spadia Spade, the Queen of Spades.  Shina's soul resonated with the revival of her body. Unable to pass on fully through the veil, she found her soul captured by the hands of Tragedonna. A scientist working for the Order under the leadership of The Plague Doctor. The Plague Doctor had created a lacrima using unique properties of fey and dream magic together. The lacrima locked her soul and allowed her to take a visible shape. Having no memories, much like her body, she is thus under the control of her creators and those who had summoned her here. She was one of the first truly successful experiments that has yet to lose control.

She was given the identity of Aerial and became one of the elite members of the Cirque du Mystere after rigorous trials and experiments. She was given tools and equipment that allowed her physically touch objects at her own will. The equipment created is attached to the crystal in her chest that binds her soul to this plane.

As a member of the Circus, she oversees conducting acrobatic routines and various balancing acts. She primarily uses her ice hoop as part of her act. She manages a small team of individuals who perform the stunts and tricks alongside her. Often, her team works alongside Spadia's team in a collaborative show.
