Uk was one of the first established members of the newly named IT Squad. He along with his friends, were assigned a mission to investigate the disappearance of hunters who were sent out on a mission. Before heading out on the mission, he and the others made their way to the shop attached to the guild. Here is where they met the poor shop girl who had accidentally knocked over a bunch of potion bottles. With random liquids all over the ground, Uk took the liberty to try and clean it up by drinking the random liquids. The others briefly tried to talk him out of it, but they knew right away that it was not worth the time. Uk, satisfied with the "floor juice" had left the shop with the others after they had purchased the supplies that they needed.
Before making their way out, they stopped at the leathershop that was next door. Here is where Uk decided to conduct a bit of an investigation on his own. Picking up on the heavy scent of cow, he was quick to turn against the shopkeeper claiming he was the one at fault for the livestock attacks of the farm. After some back and forth with the group, the keepers pulled out the book of invoices that tracked all of his purchases and sales. Uk, jumped up to investigate the book only to share that he was illiterate and unable to make any sense of the scribbles on the page.
With the unfortunate false accusation now behind them, Uk and the others proceeded to make their way towards the farm. After speaking with Alarus, they all split up to cover more ground. Uk immediately was drawn to the large dirt pile as he rummaged through it. He was able to learn that the garbage pile was a mixture of rotten flesh and other bits and pieces. Deducing that this was a regular pile of flesh and rotting meat, Uk made his way towards a well that was nearby.
Once at the well he decided to lean overtop of it causing parts of the well to collapse inward on itself. The sound of the falling stone caught the attention of Alarus who immediately blamed the crows. Uk stepped away as the farmer screamed. The crows began to gather together as the scarecrow at the edge of the vegetable field came to life. The scarecrow vanished with the crows, prompting Uk to rejoin with the others to share their clues.
With everything shared and questions were asked, it was a unanimous decision to go after the scarecrow man. They were unsure of the safety of the town and wanted to put their investigation on hold. Eager to get to town, they raced on the road. However, part way Fleece stopped to cast a spell and speak with one of the crows that was nearby. It was then that they were able to learn that the man was at the tavern.
As they made they're way inside, Uk believed that his sense of smell from the garbage pile would be able to pick him out from the bustling crowd. After trying to sniff around he wasn't able to pick up on the scent of rotting flesh, but the scent of a pumpkin spice latte. He lead the group to the source of the smell where they would find a man sitting at the main bar. He and the others approached Copper where they would learn information of what he knew in exchange for a jingle bell that Mimi had.
After Copper had bid his farewells and left, Uk and the others were eager to make their way to the forest entrance. While following Fleece's tracking, Uk had travelled inside of a log where he would meet his new pet Steve.
The group came across campsite where Uk snuck ahead to see Piper with their wolves. He came back to the group and told them of what he saw. This lead to Mimi wanting to take the talking before attacking approach. During the conversation, Uk was able to pick up on the scent of the same rotting flesh he smelt on the farm. It wasn't long after that before Piper received a blow to his stomach from an unknown force. This attack caused them to fall to their knees and turn into an abomination of a wolf.
