After stepping through the gates of Frecia Academy and leaving their companions and weapons behind, the group sets out to speak with the Headmaster. Umbra slinks away while the rest make their way to the office. They are greeted by Crest of the Sun student and assistant to the Headmaster Vix. The group are welcomed into the room and confront headmaster Arishia the Flower Child.
The group tells Arishia of what they had found in regards to the two bodies of the students. She didn’t believe the group at first but eventually had Vix conduct a lockdown of the school. All Masters were called forward and their assistants were each pulled from their individual missions.
The assistants were instructed to assist in a head count and later were acting as guards for the campus grounds. Meanwhile, Calani calls the group and belittles them asking the group what the hell was going on. She explains how she was informed that there were five bodies left behind by one of their members that she needed to clear out but only found the one. She was annoyed by the misinformation and the fact that she already had to clean up after the group after 24 hrs of leaving them alone while Chef tries to correct the course of action fearing for the loss of his job. Leaving some parting words as Jo’hann hangs up on her she warns them to not mess up.
Vix returns to inform the group that all students have been accounted for and that the headmaster isn’t too pleased with the accusations. However, Vix proclaims that there is something strange going on and she hasn’t been able to figure out what’s been happening. She’s worried and asks the group if they are going to help figure out what could be happening. Chef tries to sense if there is anything within the area that could be what she is picking up but turned up with nothing.
The group was released from the room and Vix provides bedding and takes in orders for breakfast vouchers. Shiloh retires to the library to reminisce on some fond memories looking over some old books. Meanwhile Jo’han, Chef, and Erato head to the theater where the theater club are present rehearsing their lines and reviewing sheets.
Jo’han tries to scope out the area and is confronted by Cecil. She excerpts her frustration towards Jo’han on the fact that she was pulled from her mission because of him and the others. She warns him to not break any of the rules of the grounds or else he should meet her wrath personally.
Jo’hann returns to the theater where Erato had taken the center stage. His elegant movements drew in the crowd in awe. Students participated in the performance enhancing the experience. He captivated members of the crowd with his seduction, Chef being one of them as he drew them off to the side. Cecil had followed Jo’han inside to observe and carefully watched the interactions.
Erato tried to uncover some information as to what could be happening only to learn that there were some of the Crest of the Star students that were working under Cecil and leaving the grounds. Some of them sign out when they leave but others don’t. Regardless all of the students return. They also learn that Cecil was cursed but no one has been able to break it. Chef, grovels under the charm of Erato displaying a blue blood like substance pouring from his mask as he tries to retain control.
They leave the theater to see Cecil leaning up on a wall on the outside entrance. Chef tries to sense anything again but just like before turns up with nothing.
The group turns in for the night and wake the following morning to Vix presenting them their vouchers and fulfilling the promise of escorting Chef to the gate house where his companion is kept. Shiloh, Jo’han, and Erato make their way to the mess hall where they turn in their vouchers for their specially ordered food. Jo’han recons around the mess hall while Shiloh speaks with the tired Zarconias and Izza, The Crest of the Sun and Crest of the Moon assistants.
Jo’han finds an individual who notices them. They give them a small smile and a wave as they let their hair dangle in front of their face. It appears that the student is going unnoticed by the other students as they are consistently being bumped around as people walk by. As he continued to take plates and walk around he overhears two students talking about the latest news. A Frecia vessel carrying explosives was destroyed as it was sailing to Divelison. They theorize that a certain “Guild” was involved. Jo’han intervenes slightly trying to pry more information out them, learning that if there was a guild involved it was no recognized guild.
Before Jo’hann returns, Shiloh confronts the sleep deprived Zarconias and Izza who are barely touching their food. He learns that they were all pulled from their missions and put on guard duty. Although she explains confirms that students can be pulled to perform various tasks on behalf of the assistants. She tells them if they really want to know more information about the gossip of the school to try and talk to the “Frecia Trio”. They are ones who are consistently in and out of the school in one way or another but Izza had no care because it’s not her problem. She tells them that they can probably be found in the library, courtyard, or places like that.
Meanwhile, Chef is pulled out to the gate to check on the Clay golem to learn that the golem his “Child” was destroyed. The gatekeeper found the remains in the morning theorizing that it was just a dispelling of magic and it was no biggy. Chef, angered by the situation, lashes out scaring Vix into a panic turmoil. He looks over the area where Shiloh’s construct is hooked up alongside a warforged. A tired yet still smiling Cecil walks in and casts a spell on the warforged making the weight easier for her to carry. She looked over at the distraught Chef, grabs the warforged and walks out ignoring him. Vix offers to help in any way she can, but the two retire to the mess-hall to return with the others.
