The Horrors of the Order

Underlings of the Order of the Moonlight were gathered together within Joker's domain by Tragedonna and Comedina. Cuviera Galeocerdo, Featherdust, Jolly Wagglewood, Senta, and Aaravos were the ones summoned to the domain. 

The mission was going to be simple. Secure an abandoned lab site and ensure that the place is cleared by any means necessary in preparation for a transport party. After receiving their orders they were sent through a gate into the Badlands where they were met face to face with a sandstorm. Since this was their first assignment as a team they were not as eager to work together. They needed to use each other to get through the storm and find the entrance of the temple like structure.

Once inside they were introduced to the detailing of ruins of the ancient past. Within the entrance was a construct that triggered when a trap was activated. Once they realized that the place contained traps they proceeded through the tunnels with cautious. After taking the gemstones that were on the construct after dismantling the trap with a mage hand, they were able to recognize and deactivate the constructs that were further down in the tunnel. 

Further into the ruins there was a large opening where a group of Unknowns were hiding. There were a variety of age ranges and and types of individuals here as the party discussed killing them or letting them go. Jolly was able to communicate with the individuals as the party continued the discussion as to what to do with them. They learned that they were hiding and this was their place of rescue from the bad people. They were living here in safety with the protection of members of Unknown. After speaking with them, the people in hiding agreed to leave and no harm was done to them. 

With the place now cleared out, the group traversed further in the temple where the remnants of the lab pieces were. Inside was Saiko along with his guards who were protecting the people within. The presence of the intruders sparked aggrevation in Saiko and his guards. A fight had sparked between the two groups.

During the fight it was revealed that Jolly had motives of his own. He proceeded to use his talents and attacked Senta. This sparked Aavaros to go after him while the others watched Saiko take on his hybrid form. Cuviera face most of Saiko's wrath but survived after a polymorph spell affected her. With the might of a dinosaur now in their midst, Saiko and the guards were taken down. 

Just when things were coming to a close Hydra came to the scene to try and pull Saiko out to safety. However, as she had turned into her full form she had lost her grip due to an attack made against her. Saiko fell back down into the cavern as she flew out where he took his last breath. In that moment a large surge around the world could  be felt as one of the saints had fallen. 

With the lab space now secured, the transport team appeared just in time. Ryver joined the group with Diana Voxville in his arms. Behind him in chains were the unconscious bodies of Gaius, Gidget, Temple, and Natsuru. To the order this was a job well done.

Saiko wasn't the only one to have fallen. Jolly succumbed to his injuries brought onto him from his betrayal. In his last moments he heard a voice call out to him. The voice of his contact Copper reassuring that everything was going to be ok for him and that he had done well.
