5h4d0w "Shadow" was created by Domino Wittenmyer after the death of his experimenting partner. Using similar magic to that of his mother, he was able to capture the soul his of his partner. Using the research from the Order of the Moonlight, Domino was able to transfuse the soul into a lacrima to power a suit of armor. This allowed the armor to turn into a sentient being and maintain the same personality as before. However, in doing so, the procedure had caused the soul to lose all memories of his former life. Locked away somewhere deep within the magic lines. He was a shadow of his former self, hence the name Domino bestowed upon him.

Domino acted as Shadow's "father" and taught him the ways of life and experiments. He continued to involve Shadow with the Cloak and Daggers guild. He would often gather missions here and there from the adventuring guild.

As a realm jumper, Domino Wittenmyer would take Shadow with him on all kinds of adventures. During one of the adventures Domino had taken him to the realm of Varosha. Domino was under the guise of a pixie selling magical weapons to make some extra gold. During their time on at The Cove, Shadow was confronted by a group of individuals. Domino saw how he interacted with Shadow. Wanting to make new memories and experiences, Domino allowed him to travel with the individuals as a way for himself to let go of the past and move on from the death of his partner. The person he once knew was no longer there, but what was there was something he was proud of. 

Now a part of a new group, Shadow travelled with these individuals to rescue and recover lost sages of this realm. Not realizing he himself was touched by Heliod he soon would be blessed with his gifts of light. He and the others returned to the Sacred Rocks and managed to unlock the potential of these gifts.

He and his new friends found themselves confronted by an onslaught of demons after the break of the original seal. In the attempts to flee, Shadow and the others found themselves back at Clockwork with the help of the Shadow Sage Luna Eventide. The group were now tasked with reviving her to strike back at her brother Majore Highdale the False Demon King and the demon army.

Malady Visus instructed them to visit the leader of The Watchers of the Midnight Eye to seek out help. After going through a series of trials, they passed and confronted Master. He then informed the group that to complete the task, they needed to go through the Labyrinth of the Gods, a playground. They crawled through the dungeons represented by each one of the God’s of Theros and found the sacred orb.

While in the labyrinth, Shadow learned of his past and became enlightened with the help of the Gods. His memories were restored, and he remembered of who he once was. Although his memories were restored, he retained the name Shadow as it had grown on him. Wherever there was light there was a shadow.

Once the orb was in their possession, they were able to successfully complete the revival ritual with Malady. Luna, was reborn with new powers and ascended to the mantle of the Golden Sage while the others were blessed and granted the titles of Sages themselves.

With their new powers, they trained with the watchers to expand their abilities and make them their own. Shadow used his light abilities to begin to control time itself as the newly named Light Sage. Domino was given the title of Champion and acted as his protector.

During their time, taking on small jobs here and there, they were strategizing and preparing an army to fight back against the False Demon King the former Light Sage. With the allies they had gained along the way and the watchers as their scouts, they were able to create stationed areas within Varosha. During one of their meetings, one of the watchers had become corrupted and were no longer compatible with their mask. They had turned into a rabbit creature made out of lightning and were quickly defeated by the sages. 

The newly healed Luna opened a large portal where everyone would travel through and station themselves with allies that had survived. During the Unknown, they had learned that the newly named Demon Generals were the corrupted minds and bodies of the former sages they had rescued. With the Golden Sage potentially at risk, they adjusted their strategy of attack.

During the war, Shoal of the Reef, had abandoned their cause and fallen prey inclinations of the demons. He turned his back on the other sages using his powers against them. Shadow Hunter, took on the mantle of the new Sage of Shadows and had fought alongside the group.

Successfully, one by one, the generals fell along with their armies. Their final encounter with the False Demon King resulted in an all-out brawl, with all standing allies acting as support. Successfully, they were able to bring an end to the war.

The group were celebrated as the new chosen of the Gods and Shadow was renamed as the Sage of Time.

After several years had gone by, Shadow had continued to live his life. After some time travelling, he received a notice from Domino. It was an urgent message on behalf of Luna calling for his return to the guild. Upon his return he was greeted by an overly anxious Domino passing back and forth.

Livy and Mandolynne were also summoned at the request and the three briefly caught up with one another. Domino, realizing that he was there, had confronted 5h4d0w regarding Malady’s whereabouts. Unsure of an answer threw Domino into a further anxious bought.

Luna eventually pulled everyone aside and was able to explain that Malady had been taken away somewhere. She explained that Tabes was unavailable to assist as was Shadow from her crew, but she informed them of a new individual she had grown to trust. Luna introduced Dingle, a former general of the demonic army. The three sages and former enemies of the demon were against the idea but eventually allowed for him to join them on their journey.

Luna forced open a gate that would bring them to Malady’s last known whereabouts in the Soul Realm. She explained that she had business within the upper pantheon to attend to but assured that she would come to their aid should they need it.

The group made their way through the soul realm where they would see the various souls that lingered in a limbo state. They learned that they needed a magical light source to keep the souls at bay and at a distance.

As they travelled, they saw what appeared to be a hut take shape. Inside the hut was a large tree with Malady imprisoned and bound. Before releasing her, they were confronted by three corrupted lich’s who appeared to be acting not on their own. During the fight, they eventually realize that the house itself was also alive.

After grabbing Malady, they made their way back to the portal and returned home.
