The Kraken is a ruthless mercenary leader. He is the one in charge of distributing the posters out to his band of fighters and assassins. Using the alias The Kraken, no one knew what his true name was aside from a small handful of individuals.
Overtime The Kraken connected himself with the Thieves Guild. Through the guild he was confronted by Delta. In order to secure her safety she put her son's life in jeopardy by creating a wanted poster for him. That wanted poster, along with the wanted poster for Luna Eventide ended up in the hands of mercenary Leviathan Jormun.
Levi kept the posters a secret until it was time to come clean when he and the others found themselves face to face in front of The Kraken. The group took him and his henchmen down with great ease, allowing Levi to terminate the posters put of for Shoal of the Reef and Luna. With no leader, Levi took on the mantle of the new Kraken and ran the everything after he had also taken up the title of sage.
