After the events had taken place, Hana went into the kitchen and started making a dinner for everyone. Jayre Retto turned in for the night, while Abraham reviewed the newspaper from that day. He read through an article recounting the events that had been taking place with information being withheld from the public. While looking the paper over, Hana suggests going to the library to continue their investigation on the words that were said by the creature before it died.
They were welcomed into the library by Annabelle Theresea Alamante reading in a chair. Hana and Abraham inquired about books on rituals involving blood and bodies or religious books. After narrowing down the request, she was able to pull down books on creatures related to blood, blood cults, blood moons, research and a few more.
They learned about the House of Blood that had micro cults branched out from it. The House of Blood specialized in blood magic, until blood magic became a taboo amongst magic users. They were known for traditional sacrifices and the ruling of the Blood King. The Blood king was a tyrannical and powerful being. Under him were his four individuals who managed the other sects with their own unique powers and abilities. Eventually the House and the branches fell due to the progression of The Dominion.
The eldritch creatures associated with blood are referred to as vampires, Chupacabra's etc. After reviewing further in the text, they were able to determine that the book on these creatures didn’t seem relevant to the investigation that was at hand.
Blood rituals vary to different extents. They were used for magic powers, eternal youth, and immortality. It was a magical study.
Dominion reports showed that they were able to track different cults down and tactics they used to take them down. One sect in particular, kidnapped children and used their blood to conduct the eternal youth rituals.
They were able to determine that the creature they had faced is under a branch of Eldritch creatures referred to as Voidlings. Unclassified creatures that are still being categorized, with ethereal like nature to them.
While researching Kurusu fell asleep due to the events that took place that day and eventually woke up long enough to make her way with the others into the EHM room and turn the computer room.
The twins took the viles that were collected from the site into the lab room to run some tests. While making their way inside, they ran into Annabelle leaving the lab. The twins noticed that she was putting on her leather gloves but saw that her skin was diseased with a necrosis like problem on her hands. She didn’t say anything and passed by them.
While in the lab, the twins worked together working through the viles and reviewing the blood. They noted that the blood they had collected was decaying blood, but some of the cells had a sludge. They preserve the remaining sample and meet up with the rest.
In the EHM room, Abraham was trying to look up sources of impact. He comes across simulation files of potential theories of how the blood was extracted and spread. Out of all of the theories the last one was the only one that seemed to be the closest match where the blood was collected into one source or container and that container exploded.
Hana theorizes that the creature may have come out of the blood that was collected but Abraham rebuttals the idea that there was no equivalent exchange. They were able to determine whether the creature came out of the blood or was drawn to it.
With the twins (Elara and Alara), Hana goes into the lab to review and conduct an autopsy of the creature they had defeated. They were quick to realize that this creature was bone dry on the inside. The large veins of the creature are a black ichor sludge that comes out of this creature.
Inside the hollowed-out face are different colored eyes connected by stringy like threads at the base of the cavity.
The skull is cut open, to reveal a normal brain covered in this black ichor. One of the twins is going to point out the similarities between the blood samples they took and the ichor sludge of the creature. One of the twins also pointed out the similarities of the necrosis on the creature to that of Annabelle’s hands.
Overall, the creature was humanoid like in nature. The chains that were on it were cut off and placed off to the side. They were old and rusted and appeared that the creature had broken out of their captivity.
After taking some samples, the twins were able to determine that the blood that they had collected at the site and the samples taken from the creature are very similar. With Hana, they speculated that some type of transformation happened that resulted in the creation of the creature.
Meanwhile Abraham and Kurusu were in the other room. Kurusu fell asleep on the couch, while Abraham was reviewing the data collected on the site they had investigated. Nothing he was picking up indicated that this was a specifically designated ritual.
Nissa showed Abraham other words that were collected some other sites.
“To claim his place”

“The Blood king”
Nissa explained that the blood king was a ruler thousands of years ago shut down by the Dominion. While she touches on the “Four Horsemen”, she tried to get into the tablet that they had brought back with them and failed a few times. Abraham tries and fails prompting her to bring up her “favor”.
They regroup back into the lab and exchange information with one another. Nissa gives them the tablet and they try to get in. After a while, one of the twins tries to hack into it using a device she created. The device successfully got her in to reveal that it was Coran’s tablet.
Once in the tablet, they were able to read through messages outlining the scouting trips that she and her partner Merrick were ordered to go through. They were to patrol the sector and gather any information they could on potential rift sites. After going through some of her journal entries, they were able to learn that they were excited to go out but eventually became weary of the patrols.
Hana speculated that the words gathered from the other sites make an incoherent sentence. This may mean that there are other sites, or soon to be sites. With Abraham, there was a potential “Time Shenanigan theory” that came about. Abraham reviewed his special book from his office that was left behind and was able to relate similarities between the arcane symbols of the book and that of one discussing eldritch moons from the library.
Eventually they all turned in for the night, until one of the twins was face to face with a nightmare. Seeing the creature they had autopsied before them. The twin was chained up as the creature approached them. They abruptly woke up in a cold sweat the next morning.
