Bexley stood in front of the Hound and Demon, watching everyone head off in different directions. She had a little to drink. She wondered if they should have all gone back to her office. It was no longer safe for the group to split up like this. Everyone went off by themselves. Was this the last time she would see them. It was just like when Ysera headed off. She was not sure if her strong feelings were real or just the drink coming through a little too strongly. A little drunk belch came from her feet. Nugget was swaying and looking up at her, "What, I am drunk, leave me alone." Bexley looked around making sure no one heard Nugget, "Hey watch that, let's go." Bexley walked off towards her office, nugget swaying as she followed her.
Bexley started to go over in her head what she needed to do. She needed to hire a carpenter to fix the door for Nugget. Her mind drifted through all the people she knew or more importantly helped. Did she know a carpenter. She mentally scrolled through people. Micah Blanchet, he owed her a favor and could make the door. She would need to head into the Entertainment Ward to find Micah. With that solved, sort of, she doubled her step, "keep up Nugget." She saw a couple of the urchins from earlier, they were smiling as the dog stubbled by.
As she approached her office a man was backed up against the wall next to her door. He saw her and stood as she approached. the shadows of the night covered his features, "are you Bexley, I am looking for my wife". Bexley felt relieved. It was not danger, but a job. Her coin was starting to run out, and a job would be good, "sure, first though what is your name?" Even in the shadows of darkness you could see confusion on his face. He was distraught and was not thinking right, "I am Suk Gwan. My wife Jung has not come home in two days. She went into the E Ward to for her job but never arrived." Bexley opened the door, "come on in." He followed her and told her all the details of his missing wife.
