Cestus – Brawler
The Brawler, Pit Fighters, or Bruiser
The cestus are fist-fighters or boxers who wear the caestus, a heavy-duty type of knuckleduster, but otherwise had no armor. They train to fight without armor. They dodge and stay within the effective range of many combatants.
Cestus schools within Eadwald are the most popular. Many middle classes and upper-class children train in these schools. They see is a way to learn self-defense. Many classes will happen in the street or in some of the local parks.

Weapons and Weapon combinations:
When wearing no armor and using only weapons the wrap the fists like the Caestus, students of Cestus have the following effects. These would be weapons that have the glove property:
- You can add their constitution bonus to your armor class.
Other Game effects:
All students of Cestus gain the following effect:
- Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to ld6 + your Strength modifier on a hit.
- You can take the dodge action as a bonus action
