Thermology is a science that deals with the study of heat.

Hot Air Balloons

Hot air balloons are not common at all, with the one exception of Cloudhorn. The mountain city of Cloudhorn has a Balloon festival every year. They fill the sky with colorful balloons. Currently no one is using them for travel.

Trains

The idea of trains is possible, but none have been built. All of the technical knowledge exists for trains. The steam turbine and metal craft are present and could make this possible. The main hurdle is metal craft to a level to make the steam turbine and the tracks that would be useful. Iron product is done in small amounts, and cannot create a large strong boiler, or the tracks for the train.
