So last night, for Robert, we chased the witches down an alleyway, whereupon they hid behind an illusory wall, which we barely discovered. We burst in there and saw that one of the witches was trying to strangle the child. We promptly killed the three guards and the witches ran off (one of them noted that Mordantyr is a caster, but we still do not know that). One of them left her bag. In which we found some coin (you got 3g 14c) glowing gems and a book. Book had a riddle (shared above) two tarot cards (girl and poppy). We rescued the child (Carl Smith) and took him back to Bexleys office. Doggo decided it was time to reveal herself as a former familiar (metal note: get info on her former master).
Sinikka took Carl home and made an offer to the family to try to get them a job in the Baron's (not me) manor house in the country to keep them safe from the Witches since we seem to think the boy is a caster of some sort.
Barron went to visit with Geel (eel with a g) of the Dusters and pledged to offer his services in exchange for a cease fire. He found out the murdered girl was a courier for him, so the Dusters on the roof might have been lookouts or protection, not the assassins (my theory). Confirmed that Dusters did not kill Ysera (which we know in game but Barron really didn't)
Mordantyr and Bexley are going to go get supplies in the AM, rest of us are going to meet at pub at noon.
