Faststaff
Faststaff was an exceptional diviner who had been turned to stone by his own free will in order to be revived according to his premonitions some 1200 years later to join the Yavapai tribe on their anti Tiamat crusade. Alas his player could not withstand the peer pressure exerted by other players to fight and die in a hopeless battle the DM warned them all about, thus dying in his first fight. I guess he didn’t see that coming. :-)
