War rages across the desert! The Return.

War rages across the desert! Many weeks ago, Tiamat’s aspects have been made mortal and Bhaalgnar, through her avatar The Thir-King, started to unleash her horrible power that had been held back for the last 3,000 years. The Thir-King plundered and terrorized all of the desert people. He swore vengeance upon all the desert people for defying him. Flying like a fiery cloud across the desert, he overpowered all of the brave and skillful warriors who tried to stop him.

Everything that the The Thir-King did, had been foretold by Mother Dusk, the greatest of the sages. Mother Dusk's word was power. Old stories tell that Mother Dusk used her Sphere of Power to first trap the Thir-King. Yet Mother Dusk knew that long after she died, The Thir-King would escape and terrorize the desert people again. So, Mother Dusk placed the pieces of fate so that a group of saviors, with ancient heroic blood, will be born, and join when the sun rises twice.

The “Double Dawnbringers” rose up to do battle with the evil avatars of Tiamat and appeared to save the desert people, just as Mother Dusk foretold.

The poor desert people that lived below him were blasted by firewinds and pummeled by terrible stones of ice. Rather than curing the world with the return of old gods, and bringing the rains back, their wrong of releasing the wrath of Bhaalgnar through The Thir-King, the adventurers did, in honest faith, add greatly to the problems and suffering of all the desert people.

But the legend of Mother Dusk speaks further. It tells of the 4 Star Gems and Mother Dusk's hidden tomb. With the destruction of the Star Gems and Mother Dusk's fifth stone, the chains will finally be off to repair what was shattered so many years before.

The Double Dawnbringers have fought their way across the burning desert sands. Their adventures in the vast reaches of the desert have netted many prizes, among them the three Star Gems. It seems that they are fated to save the desert people and fulfill Mother Dusk's ancient legend. By itself, the marvelous Sphere of Power is tempting, and it could be the key to getting them out of this desert wasteland. The sheiks of the desert have promised them safe passage and great wealth if they defeat The Thir-King and make the desert safe once more.
