Situated on the road stretching from Dundel (West) to New Cresthill (East), the Brackhill Fortress was built to protect trade and travel through the region. There are neighbouring badlands, rocky and concealing, that have hosted troubles for people of the kingdom in the past.
A stocky outpost of octagonal shape, it has several floors with low ceilings, cramped rooms, and a courtyard at its centre with stables. The fortress functions effectively as an archery tower, with several arrow slits in its stone walls as well as wooden hoarding along the top of the structure.
