Approach to Lake
Amid a lakeside meadow stands a small cabin of rough-cut lumber and shaved logs. The grassy approach is framed by two wide dirt paths. Next to the house is a fenced garden. Beyond is a lake with a glassy surface, reflecting the forest on the opposite bank. Thin smoke curls from the cabin’s chimney.
