While lit, this lantern burns for 6 hours on 1 pint of oil, shedding bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. A small lever can be pulled on the side of the lantern that causes the lantern to dump its oil, duplicating the effects of the grease spell (save DC 10) centred on yourself. Once this effect is used it cannot be used again and the lantern can't emit light until it is refilled.

Slick grease covers the ground in a 10-foot square centered on a point within range and turns it into difficult terrain for the duration.
When the grease appears, each creature standing in its area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. A creature that enters the area or ends its turn there must also succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone.
