Humans are not native to the Dragon Isles, but upon their discovery of it, they quickly colonized and took over the continent. They banded together to form an empire and destroyed many of the original creatures that lived their prior, indoctrinating them to what humans believe to be the natural way of life. For this reason, much of human society is higher class and elegant compared to many other races they consider to be below them.
Humans are the most populous race on Terenas. They spread their culture throughout the world and are renowned by the other long-living races for their ability to achieve so much in their short lifespan.
