The discovery of powerful ley lines and nodes of magic, which became centers of civilization and the focus of intense study.

The appearance of the first great monsters, born from the primal chaos of the world and posing a deadly threat to the mortals.

Ushering in the Age of Chaos was the Collapse, the event that shattered the Great Wheel and plunged the multiverse into darkness. 

Pyhrus and his elemental armies begin their conquest of the Elemental Plane, laying waste to entire cities and causing widespread devastation.

The deities, Unknown and Unknown, aided mortals and created powerful magical weapons, crafted specifically to combat the elemental armies and their elemental lords.

The discovery of a portal to the elemental planes, leading to a series of dangerous expeditions and battles.

The development of powerful elemental wards, which allowed the mortal kingdoms to withstand the onslaught of the elemental armies.

After millennia of constant war, the Elemental Lords eventually defeated each other, destroying not only themselves, but Unknown, Unknown, Unknown, Boria and Corvina and the entirely cosmology of the multiverse with them. 

The Shattering was a cataclysmic event that occurred towards the end of the Elemental Wars. It was an all-out conflict between the elemental beings, and their battles had grown so intense that they shattered the very fabric of reality itself. The cosmology was destroyed, the gods were all killed, and their fragments were scattered throughout the material world. The Elemental Planes were destroyed, along with the Feywild and Shadowfell, leaving only a shattered, chaotic world in their wake. It marked the end of the Elemental Wars, but also the beginning of a new age of chaos and destruction.

The Blood Pox sweeps across Terenas, killing millions of people and causing widespread panic.

The floating city of Arktos, once a thriving metropolis, is destroyed by a massive earthquake and swallowed by the sea.

The Cult of the Black Sun rises to prominence, worshipping a mysterious entity that they claim will bring about the end of the world.

Whatever mortal kingdoms are left begin searching for the Godshards, eventually destroying themselves in the process.

A massive volcanic eruption causes widespread devastation across the continent, destroying almost every active civilization and covering the world in ash.

The once-dead began to rise from their graves, animated by dark magic and driven by a hunger for living flesh. Entire cities were overrun by hordes of zombies and skeletons, and the living were forced to flee to the few remaining strongholds.
