Long ago, the drow were once elves who resided on the surface. They were banished from their homes due to their worship of dark gods and the practice of forbidden magic. Forced to seek refuge underground, they eventually settled in the Hollowed Depths, where they adapted to the darkness and developed their dark powers. Over time, their appearance changed, their skin becoming as black as obsidian and their eyes glowing red. The drow formed their own society and became skilled in the art of assassination and subterfuge, often using their abilities to manipulate other races to further their own goals. Despite their evil tendencies, some drow have rejected their dark heritage and seek to redeem their race.
