Chromatic dragonborn on Terenas are believed to have originated from the unholy experiments of a powerful cult of dragon worshippers. These cultists sought to create powerful and loyal servants by infusing dragon eggs with dark magic, corrupting the embryos within. The result was a breed of dragonborn with an affinity for destructive magic and a cruel disposition. Though the cult was eventually disbanded and its members hunted down, the chromatic dragonborn still exist in small numbers, feared and reviled by many. Some believe that their mere presence brings misfortune and destruction, and tales of their nefarious deeds are whispered in dark corners of the realm.
