Era of the Makers (EM) -50,000 — -1

Little is known about this era of Wildspace history, but it's believed the Makors were the first ones to develop warp gate and warp drive technology that allowed for faster travel throughout the waves of Wildspace.

The Makors disappeared without any sign of where they went. Some believe they went to a far-off part of Wildspace that has never been explored. Others think a magical event caused a mass disappearance. Whatever the case, Makor technology litters many crystal spheres and settlements in Wildspace.

Era of the Elven Federation (EEF) -1 — -10,000

The general history of Wildspace is marked by the first arrival of Unknown explorers from the Astral Sea. The Elves befriended some and warred with others, eventually forming Unknown to make a permanent home in Wildspace.


Era of the Empire (EE) > 1

Formed after The Mindflayer Wars, the rise of the Empire’s strength and scope marks the current era that Wildspace is in.

    After many months of debate and legal navigation, Halfling sectors joined the Empire while still retaining complete independence from many of the Empire's laws.

    A mysterious phenomena that affected all memory and records of the galaxy. 664 years of history is missing from the memories and historical records of every civilization found so far. Even the deities are vague on why, referring only to a vague safety precaution that seemingly worked.

  • The Green War

    2385 - 2400 EE

    Also known as the Third Scro War

  • Scro sectors reluctantly join the Empire

    2402 EE

  • The Red Dust War

    2408 - 2410 EE

    A bloody and short revolution started by rebel miners of a planet full of red Aedra. The rebels aimed to break from the Empire and its tyrannical, oppressive rule, while the Empire sought to keep an iron grip on important resources throughout Wildspace as the revolution spread from sphere to sphere.

    It ended in a brutal defeat of the rebels and a resounding victory for the Empire. This victory emboldened the Empire to tighten their iron grip.

    Aftermath

    • Unknown was defeated and disbanded. Its veterans can be found mostly throughout the Unknown or integrated back into life in the core of Unknown.
    • Unknown's influence and scope broadens to cover more spheres and planets.
