It's become too unsafe to work in. Let alone the many undead that were coming along.
It isn't unusual to have undead around the mine but this level was beginning to be too dangerous.
One Miner mentioned somebody who looked like Ned Shakeshaft was seen entering when they were heading away to home. Assumed it was for official business.
