--- The Boy and the Dragon Fire ---
There once was a young Dragonboy named Fearîr. He was much like any other dragonchild, but he had a dream. That one day he would live on the mountains. The other kids teased him and gave him a funny name, Flyrîr. For only the Dragons could fly to the mountains. The Dragonboy felt hurt, but the pain did not waver his conviction, did not crush his dreams. And so, Fearîr went on a journey, but he went not alone. For he had a friend, the best friend in the whole wide world, a Dragongirl named Salmaine
Together the two went to climb the mountain. Across cliffs and waterfalls, crossing undergrond rivers and chasms. Outsmarting Olf the Terrible and his Giant Children, defeating Sym the Satyr in a contest of speed. Getting both the curse of a Witch and the Blessing of a unicorn. Fearîr and Salmaine overcame it all and entered the Halls of Dragons, the home of the fearsome beast...the Red Dragon, Aravolgke. His eyes burned with a deep desire and asked for Fearîr to make the ultimate sacrifice, and to make Salmaine his Dragonwife. In return Aravolgke would grant Fearîr the gift of Dragons, making him and Salamaine one of them. Fearîr refused to give up his best friend to this beast and together the two resisted the temptation of the Dragon and slayed him in a gruesome battle
With the Tail of the Dragon as their trophy Fearîr and Salamaine paraded back down the mountain being hailed by both enemies and allies alike, to be respected and feared. The Dragonchildren became Dragonborn, however...one was not convinced. The Eldest of the Eldest questioned young Fearîr and fair Slamaine. Upon Fearîr had only one answer: "What more proof would you need, for the tail of the Fire Drake is right here! Behold how his heart burns no more!" for it was true, the mountain tops were rock no more and snow and ice took their hold...the Dragonborn claimed a new home on top of the mountain and Fearîr and Salmaine came together to form an eternal friendship.

--- The Dance of the Sun and Moon ---
There are many Elvenkind, but the is one thing they all have in common. Be they of highborn or lowborn, be they in the cities or in the woods, all of Elvenkind watch the Eternal Dance of the Sun and Moon. For it is the Sun and Moon that give life to the Elves.
The Sun and Moon were once one, bound together through forces as ancient as time itself. The Sun and Moon danced and danced and from this dance came the Children of Eternity. For these children time would not pass for them as long as the Sun and Moon would dance. But one faithful day, the Darkness came. Tearing the Sun and Moon apart breaking their eternal bond. The children were terrified and in the dark became sad. The children would cry a thousand tears in and speak a thousand spells in hopes it would bring the Sun and Moon back together. The Sun and Moon, while now driven apart by the darkness heard the cry of their children and through the power of love they reached out. Granting their children a second chance on life. The Darkness may drive the Sun and Moon apart, no matter how far they are away from eachother they would continue to dance. The Children of Eternity watched as they danced far away from eachother and thus, they became aware of time. Eternity was no more and the Children left the home of darkness guided by the light the dance provided. Leading to a new home, a new future and a new name.

--- The Battle for the Bend ---
Dwain's Bend wasn't always the merchant city it is now. Dwain's Bend once was a single rock that split a very powerful river, which in turn split the land in two. This Rock was owned by no one and had many rulers in its time. Ogres, Centaurs, Goblins, Cultists. But the once that ruled the longest were the Trolls. Mindless creatures that, when hurled together under a single intelligent banner made for a powerful but small kingdom. The Trolls would allow any passenger that could pay their toll to cross from one land to the other. Sometimes providing safety for refugees, other times strategic advantages to warmongers. As long as one could pay the Fee you may pass regardless of intent...unless if your intent was to stay. No one stayed. Ever. Except for a brave family. The Dwains.
Eradicating the Trolls they left the operation of the Bend continue for years to come, using it as an ambush for monsters that wished to pass. It became their headquarters and for generations upon generations they hunted for monsters near and far bringing safety to the region. And with safety came prospectors, merchants and eventually a city on the Bend. Dwain's Bend.
