参加 Participation
By design of play-by-post, there is no need for face-to-face sessions. However, because time is always advancing, players are expected to update semi-regularly.
遡及 Retro-activity
Player may respond to other postings up to about a week after. After that point, any challenge from the unanswered post will pass without contention. A retroactive post may not conflict with any other posts created before it, even if the new post is chronologically earlier than an old post it conflicts. eg: a member cannot participate in a duel if that same member already participated in a later battle in a previous post which already passed.
順向 Pro-activity
Equally so, a player may and is encouraged to post a week in advance or more as forseeable. Any post made in advance won't be visible until the date of the action has passed. However, if an event that happens that conflicts with an advanced post before it's date, the advance post will be nullified and asked to be updated or otherwise discarded. eg: a clan plans an attack on another clan at a future date, but before that date, the attacking clan-head is assassinated at an earlier date; the attacking clan must adjust their plans by a week after the date, or the plans will not be passed.

出発 Departure
If a player is inactive for weeks without prior notice to the group, as by design, the player's family will perish. Simple death by disappearance, exile, plague, execution, or seppuku will befall the abandoned family. That is punishment enough.
回復 Return
Provided a departed player can improve their participation, they may return at anytime, instantly pardoned, and start a new family.
