When Mr White first brought the newest ship cat aboard the Blackfish she greatly resembled a burn matchstick; tiny, black, and rather scraggly. Four months of good food and a soft bed have resulted in a far less scrawny and disheveled cat, though she remains rather small for her age.
Matchstick is by far the shiest of the 4 cats that work aboard the Blackfish. Once or twice a day she'll sneak up to the deck to visit Mr. White but the vast majority of her time is spent lurking in the shadows of the deepest parts of the ship. She is so quiet and rarely seen that many crew mates don't realize she still lives aboard the ship.
