Mark and Jay Briscoe are a pair of moonshining gnomish brothers. They are often called 'Dem Boys' because of the phrase 'Dem Boys are causing some trouble over der'. They are extraordinarily protective of their still and have laid traps all around their land to ward off other moonshiners. They are also the most militant of the Hills Rising Movement, and tax collectors from The Elven Kingdom have been known to disappear in the Lightning Swamp. This is probably a coincidence, since the swamp is extremely dangerous.
