Called the Old War Beacon, historians aren't sure of its exact purpose but three times a year it shoots what looks like a massive beam of energy into the sky. The Society of the Bond have petitioned the king to have it dismantled but he has refused, asking them instead to study it and understand more before he agrees to destroy it. So far their investigations have yielded little in the way of solid information. It is thought to date back to the Age of Unbalance.
