This temple run by The Society of the Bond, is found on a mountain pass of Barcress Mountain that leads to the citadel of Newhigh. The temple, one of the oldest in The Kingdom was originally constructed in the Age of Unbalance and its original purpose and focus of worship is unknown.
It contains several long rounded tunnels, painted with symbols the meaning of which have been lost to eons of time.
Those passageways all lead to a single room that contains a frozen water fountain.
Some way up the far wall is what looks like a circular window, a pale blue portal, it shimmers and is so cold that approaching it too closely would freeze your hands solid. It has been placed behind a barrier by The Society of the Bond and no one is allowed to go near it.
How and why such a thing exists, and at such a temperature on a mountain in the middle of a desert is inexplicable. It is heavily guarded by men from the The Tower of the Guardians of the Archonon. If The Society of the Bond doesn't understand it, they want to control it until they do.
