The Church of Ezra is a faith centered around the worship of the martyred Ezra as well communion with lesser saints such as St. Markovia. The central belief is that a mortal named Ezra once sacrificed themselves to prevent the Mist from swallowing all of Ravenloft. A collection of writings about Ezra's life and deeds has been collected into a book called The Acts of St. Ezra.
There are churches dedicated to Ezra in most towns in Ravenloft although the details of Ezra's depiction varies by domain. Ezra may be portrayed as male, female, or non-binary. Ezra may be portrayed as human, elven, or other. In Sithicus, Ezra is depicted as an elven woman.
