Darklord, also Dark Lord, is the name given to those individuals who rule a particular domain of Ravenloft. A Darklord is the domain's ruler (although not necessarily a political ruler) but is also a prisoner there, forced to repeat their sins over and over again for all time. Rarely, a domain will have two co-equal Darklords who are inevitably in competition with one another.
