Aelmar is a boy of about 10 years old (in elven years) who lives in Hroth. Years ago, he was kicked in the head by a Riding Beetle resulting in brain damage. He seemed to miraculously recover with no resulting symptoms 2 1/2 weeks before the PC's arrived in Sithicus.
After speaking with Aelmar and his mother, the party learned that Aelmar had a dream the night he was healed. He dreamed a man was sitting on his bed telling him everything would be alright. He couldn't see the man's face, but saw that he wore all gray and had pointed ears. The party also discovered that the soles of Aelmar's feet are too calloused to be those of a little boy and also that the color of the skin doesn't quite match the rest of his foot. There are also faded stitch scars around his foot.
